Richfield Police Find Four Bullet Casings in Trash Can

All the following information was taken from the Richfield Public Safety Department's crime report from Jan. 19, 2012, detailing incidents from Jan. 16-18. A resident reported that an unknown person through a rock through his back window Jan. 16. Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 7100 block of Cedar Avenue Jan. 16. Police checked the area and didn't find anything to coroborate the report. However, a few minutes later an officer located four 9-mm shell casings in the trash can outside the main entrance of 7134 Cedar Ave. S. Police responded to a fight at the REM group home on the 7600 block of Thomas Avenue Jan. 16. One party was taken to the hospital for an injury to his hands. Richfield Man Charged for Allegedly Assaulting 12-Year-Old Son
