Richfield Man Charged With DWI After Hit-and-Run Crash

A Richfield man has been charged with felony drunken driving after a hit-and-run crash in Minnetonka. Calvin Robinson, 28, is charged with two counts of first-degree driving while intoxicated, each of which carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a $14,000 fine. Robinson remains in the Hennepin County Jail on a $100,000 bond. He is also being held on outstanding warrants, including DWI and domestic assault charges in Richfield and a DWI charge in Golden Valley. According to the criminal complaint, compiled by Minnetonka Police Detective Andrew Gardner, police were called to a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 101 on Feb. 9.
