Bennigan's Restaurant Could Fill Former Blockbuster Space

The restaurant has teamed up with Brixmor Property Group to put franchised restaurants in multiple shopping centers across the country.

The Hub Shopping Center may soon be home to a Bennigan's restaurant. According to FSR Magazine, Bennigan's Franchising Company and Brixmor Property Group—which owns and manages the Hub—announced a strategic partnership this past summer to add Bennigan's restaurants to Brixmor's portfolio of shopping centers across the country. And Richfield's former Blockbuster space appears to have been chosen as one of the pre-approved franchise locations. As part of Bennigan's and Brixmor's strategy, signs have been placed at select existing buildings and pad site locations within the Brixmor portfolio of shopping centers, according to FSR. The signs are meant to promote pre-approved restaurant space and franchise opportunities within targeted growth …
