Strangulation, Guns & Meth: Man Faces Multiple Felonies After Richfield Arrest
Police say Andy Morales assaulted a woman at Motel 6 after she told him she was pregnant with his child, and later found him to be in possession of multiple firearms and drugs.
Minneapolis resident Andy Morales, 22, is facing seven felonies after Richfield police responded to a domestic assault at the city's notorious Motel 6 Feb. 12, and a subsequent search of his residence. Morales is charged with one count of domestic assault by strangulation, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and five counts of a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. According to the criminal complaints, Richfield police responded to Motel 6 on a report of a domestic assault at around 4 a.m. Feb. 12.
