American Legion Post 435 welcomes Legacy Riders to town on Thursday.

The American Legion Legacy Riders rolled into Richfield on Thursday to raise funds for the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund and were warmly welcomed in a reception at the Richfield Post 435. The Legacy Scholarship Fund assists any child that has lost a parent in combat since 9/11 gain access to secondary education.

Ellison: Politians Charging Constituents for Access Could Lead to 'Plutocracy'

Richfield's representative will speak at the American Legion convention later this month in Minneapolis.

On MPR's Capitol View, Tom Scheck reported Tuesday that the American Legion's national convention will be held from Aug. 27 to Sept. 1 in Minneapolis. President Obama, GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann, Gov. Mark Dayton and Rep. Keith Ellison will be some of the speakers at the event. Ellison was a guest Tuesday on The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. Guest host Rev. Al Sharpton interviewed Ellison for a segment called "Town Haul."  Sharpton introduced several clips that showed GOP leaders being heckled in town hall meetings. "You see, actual voters were very unhappy," Sharpton said. "Turns out the GOP isn't too keen on those YouTube moments, so they've come up with a solution: Just silence the poor and middle class in their district…

This just goes to show how far Left Mr Ellison is with the company he keeps. Al Sharpton is far left, but Van Jones is so far left he was force to resign his postion at the Green Czar.
