Hat Trick Hockey, which years ago was located across the street from the arena, is an "everything-hockey" retail store that is located within the building.

This department works closely with the Public Works Department to ensure the parks are well-kept. The department also handles the programming of Richfield activities such as fitness classes and card-playing lessons. It also manages the Richfield Pool, Richfield Ice Arena and Woodlake Nature Center.

The Richfield American Legion is also set in the middle of the park. The development of the park, formerly known as Legion Lake, began in 1985, and walking paths were asphalted in 1990. In the summer, the picnic pavilion serves as a local farmers' market and the entire expanse of the park is used for all Fourth of July festivities. The All Veterans Memorial statue and walls of names were unveiled in 2008.

The center is also the source for all information about parks, the mini-golf course, the Richfield Ice Arena and the public pool. The Recreation Services Department is also located within the center.
