The Loaves and Fishes headquarters is in Minneapolis and Hope Church is just one of the sites it is currently serving meals at. Thousands of people volunteer every year to cook and serve meals across the Twin Cities Metro.

The organization also provides advocacy, training, emergency food, facility rental and maintenance and more. Dinner is extended to the entire Richfield community for free, although donations are always welcomed.

This large ELCA Lutheran church has many connections to Richfield and runs a variety of programs for its members.More In addition to participating in community-service projects like Meals on Wheels, Loaves and Fishes and VEAP (the community food shelf), the church regularly hosts Boy Scouts meetings. Going strong for more than 75 years, Oak Grove offers everything from confirmation for teens to marriage counseling for couples to an enriching adult Bible study.

Hope Church is located just a few blocks away from City Hall on Portland Avenue. The church was founded in 1953, whenMore just a handful of people began worshipping as a Presbyterian congregation at Central Elementary School (located on the senior high school campus). Soon, plans to build were recognized and the offical site was opened in March 1954.

In addition to its Sunday services, the church offers a variety of services to its members and the community. Some of those services include:

- Loaves and Fishes: Four days a week , Hope Church works with Loaves and Fishes, a local charitable organization, to serve dinner to anyone who wishes to enjoy it—no questions asked.

- Vines & Branches, Clothing & More: The Church also accepts clothing and household item donations, which they sell at very affordable prices to the public.

- Hope's School-Age Care: A licensed morning and afternoon child-care program for children in kindergarden through 6th grade. All are welcome.

- Hope Pre-school: The school teaches children age 3 through 5.

English tutoring, interview preparation, and family, adult, student and marriage ministries are also offered.
