We have to make people aware that our State is run by public employee Unions and we need court casesRead More like today which ruled that the California Teacher Tenure rules are unconstitutional so that we can change laws and vote people out of office who do not represent the interests of the public who pay the taxes.

Something that is interesting to note is that high school grads are going to four year universitiesRead More and studying subject that isn't marketable. While on the other hand you have people getting vocational training at vocational schools that essentially guarantees them a job out of school that will make them 'x' amount of money. So it isn't that college degrees are worthless, some are. It is also said that sometimes trade school is the right choice! I spoke with Robert Slotterback last Thursday. He said the knife was confiscated which tells youRead More obviously there was a knife for sure. And that nothing further would be done by the school. what I don't understand is how the child was not in school on Monday and right back to school Tuesday. Typically I would think there would be a little bit more punishment then that. At least a more lengthy suspension.

exactly what I am talking about...I had a conversation with Slotterback about gangs in RHS.lastRead More year....he said what gangs? comom get a grip of what is going on...The best thing that has happen is that the Minneapolis busing program ended...we have enough damage already with 28% of free and reduced lunches...I supported the levee..I don't have kids in Richfield school system... I hope they can can pull it together..I hear Principal Joey is a great guy, IDK what his opinion was...but I would hope he doesn't give a another chance to this kid for threatening a special needs child...

I do not believe that the state had to step in and close schools. That should have been done at theRead More local level. Yet more over reach
Mike January 6, 2014 at 09:03 pm
I remember the last time the governor cancelled school because of these temps, it was republicanRead More Gov. Arne Carlson. I don't remember many crowing about gov't overreach then. The kids got a day off of school and were home, warm, and safe. 3M cancelled WORK. I still went to work. What were you doing at 1:19 pm Mr. McLean? Nice and warm?

I was in my office at 7:10am. My Manager who resides in San Jose called me Sunday and said maybe IRead More should work from home on Monday. I had no problem with local school systems making the call whether to have classes or not. Much as they have today. Maybe you would have felt better had President Obama made the same decision.
Severely cold weather will hit Minnesota at the beginning of next week.

Are you sure this guy is not from "Richfield, Utah"? This guy sounds unbelievably creepy.Read More He is so insecure about his own faith that he has to force preach children who can't escape from him. He needs to pick on adults his own size.
