Richfield Senior High School (RHS) was established in 1954 and is home to the Richfield Spartans. The school plans its curriculum to meet all district requirements and goals. In addition, RHS offers a variety of electives such as global languages, art, family and consumer sciences, music, band, business and marketing and technology education. The school also offers advanced courses, off-campus programs through Hennepin Technical College, special education and ESL classes. The school also wants to ensure the building is safe for its students and staff. The school has about 50 security cameras, indoors and out, nineteen of which were added before the beginning of the 2010-11 school year.

The staff at RHS are great people and work hard to help kids do well in the classroom and in life after high school. There are great families and awesome kids that have been wonderful to get to know through helping at RPS.
