Richfield Lake Park is tucked within a neighborhood near the Minneapolis/Richfield border and across from the Richfield Post Office. It was primarily used as a storm water holding area until the park area was developed in 1985. The park was originally acquired by the city in 1955 and features a playground area and a mile of walking paths around a small lake. There is also a half-size basketball court.
