Annual Half Haunted Halloween on for Saturday at Wood Lake

Half Haunted Halloween


When: 3-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.

Where: Wood Lake Nature Center, 6710 Lake Shore Dr. in Richfield.

Cost: $4 in advance, $5 at the door, and free for Friends of Wood Lake members.

Details: This family-friendly, non-scary Halloween event features an interactive trick-or-treat trail, magic show, all-ages dance, storytelling, games, face painting, hot cocoa, and cookies. Purchase tickets in advance at Wood Lake Nature Center. Space is limited and tickets that remain will be sold at the door as space becomes available. Richfield Pumpkin Patch


From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 27, bring the family to Veterans Memorial Park for the Second Annual Richfield Pumpkin Patch.

According to an event release from Wheel Fun Rentals:

"Event wristbands are just $19 for kids 3-17 and includes mini-golf, unlimited games, inflatables and a pumpkin. Kid’s $14 wristbands includes everything except mini-golf. Adult wristbands are $9 and $5, and Seniors are free. Schools and groups are welcome to make arrangements for weekday visits; for group reservations please call (612) 861-9348."

Heart Promotion Craft & Gift Show


When: 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.

Where: Southtown Center, I-494 and Penn Avenue in Bloomington.

Details: Get a head start on holiday shopping with loads of vendors selling a variety of handmade items, as well as direct sale companies such as Tastefully 
Simple, Scentsy, Watkins and Tupperware.
