Week Ahead: Taft Lake Ice Fishing Bowl

Want to get on the ice?
Attend this free ice fishing event that introduces families to one of Minnesota’s most popular outdoor activities. No prior experience or ice fishing gear is required.
Attendees will receive fishing tips and special prizes will be awarded to a few lucky little anglers. Warm beverages and refreshments will also be provided.
Pre-registration is not required. The event is sponsored by The Home Depot.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Taft Lake, 6300 Bloomington Avenue.
Here are a couple of other things to know about this week:
- MOMS Club of Richfield/SE Minneapolis meet on Monday, Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m. in Minneapolis. They are a non-profit group that provides support for mothers who choose to stay at home, full or part-time, to raise their children. They provide a forum for topics pertinent to children and families and engage in activities to enrich children and families. For more details, click here.
