Council Meeting Cancelled, Christmas Business Hours Coming Soon: Week Ahead
What you need to know about this holiday week.
The Christmas (and Kwanzaa) holiday week has arrived. And as area students enjoy winter break and most adults enjoy a day off of work, the following are a few things to know this week:
Richfield Patch is compiling a list of business hours for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If you have questions or information to add to the list, please leave a comment below.
The city's warming houses for skating, hockey and pleasure rinks will have special hours on holiday days. On Christmas Eve warming houses are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on Christmas Day. For more information, see the "Outdoor Skating Rink" page on the city of Richfield website.
The Richfield City Council's regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24 has been cancelled.
The winners of the 2013 Richfield Holiday Lights Decorating Contest were announced last week. See who took home the five awards on Patch.
Kwanzaa begins on Thursday, Dec. 26 and ends on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. For more on the celebration, go to officialkwanzaawebsite.org/index.shtml.
