Watch the Metrodome Roof Deflate for the Last Time

The deflation paves the way for the new Vikings stadium.

MINNEAPOLIS—Officials started deflating the Metrodome at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Thirty-five minutes later, the dome had collapsed to rise no more. The stadium will eventually be demolished and replaced with a $1 billion new stadium.
