Richfield Swimmers Take Fifth At State
Max Hamilton earned All-America Consideration while winning the 100 breastroke
The Richfield boys swimming and diving team finished fifth overall at the Class A state finals on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
Fergus Falls took home the title with 205 points, and the Spartans finished in the top five with 162 team points.
Leading the way Saturday was Max Hamilton’s 100 breastroke. Hamilton earned All-America Consideration for his 58.50 time and won the state championship in the event.

Andy Petersen finished the 200 IM fourth overall with a 1:59.90 time. The 200 medley relay took fifth overall, and both the 200 freestyle 400 freestyle relays finished eighth.
