PHOTOS: Richfield Legion Team Gets Stomped 14-0 by Edina
Neither rain nor Richfield can slow down Edina much in a 14-0 American Legion baseball game Wednesday.
Neither host nor a progressively harder rain slowed down Edina Legion Post 471 baseball team Wednesday in a 14-0, six-inning win at Richfield High School (RHS).
Led by starting pitcher Matt Hopfner, Edina held Richfield to just a pair of hits in the rain-shortened contest.
Edina, meanwhile, scored in a variety of ways and little by little turned the contest into a soggy rout.
