PHOTOS: Holy Angels Jazz Dance Team Competes at State
Holy Angels of Richfield danced its way into the Class AA jazz finals Friday at the Target Center.
Starliners dance team made a run at the top Friday as it danced in the Class AA jazz dance division competition at the 2011 Girls Dance Team State Tournament held at Target Center in Minneapolis. Unfortunately the girls didn't take first place but the team was able to be part of the top six out of 12 teams.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s of St. Louis Park, MN finished first, Totino Grace of Fridley, MN placed second and defending state champion St. Cloud Cathedral came in third overall.
will get another chance to place Saturday as the Starliners compete in the Class AA high kick division. The top six teams from the qualifying round advance to finals. The qualifying round begins at 2:15 p.m.
