PHOTOS: Holy Angels Headed to State

The Holy Angels Starliners dance team takes home first place in the Section 1AA high kick dance competition; third in the jazz competition.

The Academy of Holy Angels dance team, the Starlineres, took home first place in the Section 1AA high kick dance competition and were also awarded third place in the jazz competition.

Both teams have now earned the right to compete in the state tournament that will be held at the Target Center on Feb. 18-19.

Head coach Kelly Newlin said, "We're excited to be going [to the state tournament] in both. We will just continue to work on our execution and our kicks."
