Since 1970, Headway has provided emotional health services to help children, families and individuals throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas overcome issues such as child abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, truancy, addiction, parenting and more. The organization also helped , where teen pregnancy rates are the second highest in the state—outside of Minneapolis.

About 17 or 18 groups are signed up to participate, according to Melissa Panszi-Riebe, community relations coordinator for Headway. And with a foursome entry running at $520, Headway stands to take in a nice chunk of change to keep its programs running.

All tournament proceeds benefit the organization, which relies heavily on donations and fundraising dollars to continue its services at reduced rates. Registration and sponsorship deadlines have passed, but for more information on how to support the organization in other ways, click here.
