Richfield's Mandy Chan Receives Comcast Foundation Scholarship
Richfield senior Mandy Chan was named as one of the recipients of the Leaders and Achievers Scholarship.

The Comcast Foundation recently announced that Richfield’s Mandy Chan, a senior at (RHS), has been named as a 2011 recipient of a $1,000 Leaders and Achievers Scholarship.
The Comcast Foundation was founded in 1999 to provide charitable support to its local communities and to empower and enrich lives.

Chan was honored for her volunteerism and involvement with the Learning Exchange, , Fairview Southdale Hospital, Student Government, National Honor Society and Minnesota State Brain Bee, as well as her participation track and field and in band. She will attend the University of Minnesota to study Neuroscience.
Chan will be recognized at a reception at 11:30 a.m. June 15, 2011 at the Saint Paul Hotel hosted by David Cohen, executive vice president of Comcast Corporation.
