Richfield Patch Whiz Kid of the Week:

Jessica January

• (RHS)
• Accomplishment: 4.0 student who just hit the 1,000-point mark as a RHS varsity basketball player, which is a difficult accomplishment for any athlete, especially a sophomore.
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Jessica January is a three-sport varsity letter athlete—volleyball, basketball and track—who maintains an amazing academic and athletic record. January is a top D-1 recruit for both girls basketball and track. The best part of her is that if you met her you would have no idea she has accomplished so much because she is extremely humble. She is well liked by her peers, people respect her and she has a quiet leadership ability around school but is a killer on the court or field.
