Richfield Swimmers, Diver Hope to Make a Splash at State Meet
The Spartans had three participants advance to the Class A meet this weekend after finishing first in the Section 4A championships.

The Spartans had three participants advance to the Class A meet this weekend after finishing first in the Section 4A championships last week. Richfield finished 20th in state in 2010 with 32 points and were 25th at state with 23 points in 2009.

The junior diver won the section meet last weekend. She finished 12th in the one meter dive at state the last two seasons.
The senior captain won the 200 individual medley at the section meet last weekend with a time of 2:13:23, just breaking the section record of 2:13:13. She just missed making the state meet in the 100 butterfly, finishing fifth. Pospisil was seventh in the 200 individual medley at State Meet last year and 13th as a sophomore in 2009.

Qualified in the 50 freestyle after winning the event at the section championships.
