Richfield Students Advance to State Problem Solving Competition

The state competition will take place March 31.

Richfield teams of students and individuals from across the school district are advancing to the state Future Problem Solvers Competition after placing in the top five in various divisions at the regional competition in early February.

's (RMS) Alex Steger and 's Marquise Lee placed first and fourth, respectively, in the Junior Division Individual Competition. These students and student teams from the middle school, Centennial, , and will tackle the topic of "trade barriers" at the state competition.

The competitions are put on by the Minnesota Future Problem Solvers Program. The state competition is scheduled for March 31.
