Richfield Student Places First in Minnesota State Fair Photography Competition

The results of the annual Minnesota State Fair Education Competition are in.

first-grader Ashley Montano took home first place in the Minnesota State Fair Education Competition's Grade 1 individual exhibit for photography.

In addition to Montano's victory, three other students were announced as winners:

  • Sheridan Hill's Irene Vargas Jaimes took third place in Grade 1 weaving division;
  • Sheridan Hill's Zippy Hockett and Gloria Anani took third place in Grade 1 photography division.
