Richfield Soccer Saturday A Hit Both On & Off The Field

Nearly 200 people showed up to support the Richfield High School soccer teams and help raise money for a local family recently devastated by a house fire.

Nearly 200 people of all ages made it out to 's Spartan Stadium to support the school's soccer teams Saturday.

featured a raffle basket, varsity team autographs for the younger crowd and a meet-and-greet with the Spartan mascot. The Richfield Soccer Association also put on a shoot-out for their players and the winners received a Richfield soccer t-shirt.

The boys C-squad won their match at Lyndale Field 4-2 over the Blake School, while the JV and varsity teams lost close 1-3 and 1-2 games, respectively.
