welcomed students and their parents Tuesday for its 2012 Breakfast With Books celebration in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday.

In addition to celebrating the author's birthday with reading their favorite books, students and teachers also wore fun hats as part of .

The events also kicked off the schools One School, One Book program. All families received a free copy of "The Dreamer." Families will read the book together at home and teachers will read the book in class and do follow-up activities. Books were also sent home in Spanish for Spanish-speaking families.
