Richfield School Board Director Chooses Not to Run for Re-Election

Fifteen residents file to run for three school board seats, one of which will be unchallenged.

Director Tom Flood, was not among the 15 residents who filed by Aug. 16 to run for election in November 2011.

In a recent interview with 55423.info, Flood said he decided not to run again because he "didn't have quite the vision or the passion" now, as he did at the beginning. But, he also added that the number of candidates filing showed the district's rising energy as the result of major accomplishments.
