Richfield Private Schools Cancel Monday Classes for Cold Weather

Monday’s high is expected to be just -17 degrees Fahrenheit.

In anticipation of severely cold weather, Blessed Trinity Catholic School and the Academy of Holy Angels have cancelled all classes and activities for Monday, Jan. 6.

All public school classes were cancelled by Gov. Mark Dayton earlier this morning.

The National Weather Service predicts a low of -26 degrees Fahrenheit Sunday followed by a high of -17 degrees Monday. Winds of 10 to 15 mph will further add to the bitter cold. Tuesday.
