Richfield Blessed Trinity Students Honor Jablonski With 'Whiteout'

Students wore white and said prayers for the injured hockey player.

In honor of injured hockey player , Richfield fourth- through eighth-graders participated in a 'whiteout' event Friday.

Students dressed in white, said prayers for Jablonski and his family, and monetary donations were collected for the Jack Jablonski Fund.

Jablonski, a 16-year-old sophomore, was checked from behind and into the boards during a junior varsity game on Dec. 30 against Wayzata. The hit left Jablonski paralyzed.
