Principal Encourages Families to Start Healthy Living Intiatives at Home

Richfield S.T.E.M. School will celebrate National Health and Physical Education Week later this month.

National Health and Physical Education Week April 29th-May 3rd

During the Health and PE Week celebration, the STEM Physical Education Department will continue to focus on an active and healthy lifestyle. To further promote these elements, we have invited some outside professionals to come and lead the students in a tennis lesson and Zumba class.

Cathy Molinett a certified Zumba instructor and Richfield resident will be leading all students through a 30 min. “kids” zumba class. Also, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) will be introducing tennis to the K-2 students.

Joan Hoerauf and Anna Hettler, PE teachers at STEM, will reinforce healthy eating and physical activity ideas for students and their families outside the school day.
