Sheridan Hills Elementary School welcomes parents and students to school for an open house and picnic to kick-off the 2011-12 school year a little early.
invited students and their families to a back to school open house and picnic Thursday evening. Parents were able to see their children's classrooms before heading out to the playground area for a nice dinner under the sun. One student even seemed excited for the school year to start as he gave a teacher a big hug.
