Holy Angels Names New Dance Team Coach

Kristin Mundahl just joined the school's faculty this fall as an English teacher.

The Academy of Holy Angels has named Kristin Mundahl as head coach for its danceline, the Starliners.

Mundahl joined AHA this fall as an English teacher.

She has considerable dance and coaching experience. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theater dance. In high school, she danced with the Eastview High School Lightning dance team. She also performed in plays and musicals in high school and at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

She began coaching dance teams while she was a student at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

As head coach at her team placed second at Sections and went on to a State performance. She later assisted the varsity team at Lakeville South High School. She has also managed Lakeville North's theater program, directing and choreographing various productions, including The Odd CoupleHello, Dolly!Charlotte's Web, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.  

“Kristen’s past coaching experience, her lifelong study of dance, and the strength of her positive personality makes her the perfect person for this role,” says AHA Athletic Director Michael Kautzman.
