U10 Girls get Payback!
Seeking to avenge a recent tournament loss to Edina, RSA's U10 Girls put together their strongest game of the season to achieve the payback they were looking for with a 2-0 win at Taft Park Monday evening.
The U10 girls needed to play with an increased determination in order to get the better of the physical presence Edina brings. Ingrid Blanco would get the scoring started early for Richfield and then Blanco again would find the back of the net in the second half to seal the victory. Mary Foley and Amanda Folk shared goalkeeping duties to preserve the shutout.
RSA's U10 Girls' next game is at Taft Park this Wednesday, June 19 versus the Minneapolis Urban Stars.
