Lakewinds Natural Foods Gets Final Design Approvals

The Richfield City Council approved a conditional use permit and the final development plans for the future co-op grocery store at Lyndale Gardens.

Richfield's first co-op grocer secured its final approvals to build a 25,000-square-foot store on the future Lyndale Gardens site.

The final design plans for Lakewinds Natural Foods' planned unit development were unanimously approved by the Richfield City Council Tuesday night. The grocer was also granted a conditional use permit.

The new store will take the place of the long-vacant Lyndale Garden Center building on the 6400 block of Lyndale Avenue. Among the amenities the grocery store will offer are an extensive produce selection, a huge selection of prepared foods such as a sushi, a hot bar, a salad bar, and indoor and outdoor cafe seating. What's Next?
