UPDATED: Richfield's 'Unity in the Community' Set for Another Year

The annual celebration is May 16.

Richfield's Unity in the Community event is set for yet another year.

The 2013 event will be held from *5-7:30 p.m. May 16 at Veterans Memorial Park.

After holding a Cinco de Mayo celebrations in 2009, 2010 and 2011, the city expanded its May celebration and renamed it Unity in the Community in 2012. It's completely free and features entertainment, games, kids activities, free snacks and more.

This year's event will specifically feature face painting, balloons, dancing, cultural displays, K-9 demonstration, storytelling, and city vehicles on display.
