He said his resignation was to ensure his employment and professional direction were "aligned."

Kathryn Jesperson captured the hearts of many at the St. Michael-Albertville High School Grand March last month. But her life is a triumph over a heart that almost failed her.

As the school year comes close to ending, some Osseo School District parents are expressing concern about the progress of the newly implemented Standards Based Grading.

The City Council dismissed all members of the Human Rights Commission at the end of last year after a proposed resolution created a rift between the council and the commission.

With the help of local law enforcement, the school and several other organizations, students got a taste of what it's like to be on the scene of a teen drunken driving accident.

A public grand opening ceremony was held at Station 2 on May 12. Workers are finishing the new Station 1 across town.

The students competed in longstanding favorites, such as tug-of-war and sack races.

Minneapolis-based Artist Dewey James' mixed media acrylic piece "High Wire" has been selected as the 2012 Edina Art Fair's featured piece.
