A $20 million Minnesota Department of Transportation project is set to be underway Wednesday, with crews reducing the interstate between County Road 2 and County Road 70 to one lane in each direction.
The project was to have started in August but the agency put off the start of work until after Labor Day.
In addition to lane closures, according to MnDot, Sept. 3 will also mean these ramp closures:
185th St/County Road 60 to northbound I-35 closed. Suggested alternate: County Road 50 ramp to access northbound I-35.
Northbound I-35 ramp to County Road 50 closed. Suggested alternate for ramp closure: 185th St/County Road 60.
