Other facts

I am endorsed by leaders in the legal community including several past Presidents of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.  I am endorsed by the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota.  I received over 75% of the vote in the Hennepin County Bar Association poll.  Former Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court Kathleen Blatz appointed me to the Minnesota Rules of Evidence Committee. I served as President of Minnesota Women Lawyers, assisted in the formulation and implementation of that organization's strategic plan, created the Parity Taskforce, and I was instrumental in obtaining substantial funding to implement the recommendations of the Parity Taskforce. These are organizations and people who know the work that a judge needs to do, know the needs of the Hennepin County bench, know me and my experience, and have chosen me as the most qualified candidate for this position.  In my work as a public attorney and as a criminal prosecutor, I have worked with citizens from all walks of life at some of the most difficult and challenging times in their lives. I am known for my compassion, strong work ethic, and commitment to justice. I know the people of Hennepin County and I know the work that is done in Hennepin County.  I have management and leadership experience that is directly related to the work done by our Hennepin County courts. I have considerable relevant civil and criminal trial experience with over 100 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. I participate on several interdisciplinary committees in Hennepin County charged with the responsibility of ensuring that Hennepin County's justice system is accessible and effective. I am a community leader and hold and have held leadership positions in legal and non-legal community organizations including the Hennepin County Bar Association, Interact Center for the Arts, Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association. Finally, I have been endorsed by police and labor, leaders in the legal community, and bi-partisan leaders in the community at large. These are people who know me and the work that I do. I am honored to have their support. Please go to cutter4judge.com for a complete list of community service and supporters.
