City of Richfield Website Gets A New Look

The city unveiled an improved website this week.

After 10 years of the same, the City of Richfield launched its revamped and more user-friendly website Aug. 9.

As outlined on the new "Latest News & Notices" section, the website now features:

  • Quick link features on the homepage and a photo slideshow that can be frequently updated;
  • Navigation that allows visitors the ability to find information in a variety of ways;
  • A city calendar with the ability to filter information by category and department, allowing visitors the option to view only the events of interest to them;
  • An updated news feature that allows visitors to sign up for RSS feeds and e-notifications;
  • The ability for staff to post surveys and forms for residents;
  • Automatic site conversion for all major mobile devices such as smartphones.

Nice improvement! The old one was quite long in the tooth.
