Victim 'Robbed of His Shoes'
A roundup of crimes and incidents reported to the Richfield Police Department.
Aug. 1
8:33 a.m. — Police received a report of property damage on the 6900 block of Knox Ave.
10:08 a.m. — A resident of the 7200 block of Cedar Ave reported their television and miscellaneous jewelry had been stolen by a burglary.
1:22 p.m. — A domestic assault was reported on the 6600 block of 5th Ave.
Aug. 2
3:38 a.m. — Police arrested a man for shoplifting from a business on the corner of Nicollet Ave and 66th St.
1:50 p.m. — A man reported his shoes had been stolen at the corner of 73rd St. East and Portland Ave. Police arrested a suspect in the case.
10:05 p.m. — A resident of the 7000 3 Ave called police after someone attempted to break into her home.
Aug. 3
7:49 p.m. — A patron of the Marathon Gas station on the 7700 block of 12th Ave said her phone was stolen after she set it down on the gas station counter and then turned away.
