In November 2010, , which began in the early 90s when he stumbled upon stash of old photos. He put them aside, just to make sure they weren't thrown away. Eventually Fritz realized if he didn't do something with them, no one would, and his goal to have a photo of every officer who ever served Richfield was born.

"I just think that it's very important that they be remembered and recognized somewhere," Fritz told Patch that November. "They performed a significant service to the community and they deserve recognition."
