Multiple Windows Reported Broken; Pellet Gun is Possibly to Blame

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the 's Crime Reports from Feb. 13, 2012, detailing incidents from Feb. 9-11.

Police found juveniles smoking near on two different occasions Feb. 9. All were cited and then released.

A vehicle on the 6900 block of 14th Avenue was damaged by an unknown party Feb. 9. A window, valued at $300, was shattered; possibly by a BB gun.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance between a juvenile and his stepfather on the 400 block of 74th Avenue Feb. 9.

Police responded to a burglary at a business on the 6300 block of Penn Avenue Feb. 9. The unknown suspects were spotted fleeing the scene and were not located.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot on the 700 block of 77th Street East Feb. 9.

A woman reported that her wallet was stolen while she was shopping at Aldi Foods Feb. 10. She also reported charges were made on a credit card that was in the wallet.

Police responded to two reports of window damage Feb. 10. The damage was possibily caused by a pellet gun.

A 56-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for failing to yield to a traffic sign and driving without a valid license.

A man reported that an acquaintance forced his way into his apartment and stole a microwave Feb. 11.

Police responded to a violation of a protection order Feb. 11.

A woman reported that a soda can was thrown through her window Feb. 11. Shortly after the report was taken, another window was broken with a soda can. Total damage was estimated at $400.
