Richfield Police Cite Several Juveniles for Various Offenses

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the ’s Crime Reports from Monday, detailing incidents from Nov. 20-25, 2011.

A resident reported that $7,600 was taken by an unknown person from a locked apartment Nov. 20.

 olice are investigating a harassment incident that was reported on Nov. 20.

A woman reported that her daughter was swindled after responding to a false Craig’s List ad for a job Nov. 20.

A 32-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with fleeing police and giving a false name to an officer Nov. 20.

After stopping a vehicle for speeding, Police cited the passenger of the vehicle being in possession of several pieces of drug paraphernalia Nov. 21.

Police responded to a report of a rape on the 900 block of 77th Street Nov. 21. The suspect was gone when officers arrived.

A student was cited for underage consumption Nov. 22.

A 51-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with DUI, hit and run, not wearing a seatbelt and driving after cancellation Nov. 22.

A man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Nov. 22.

A man reported his cell phone stolen Nov. 22.

reported a snow blower stolen Nov. 22.

An 8-year-old Richfield student reported that her father assaulted her to a school official Nov. 22. Police are currently investigating.

A 31-year-old Bloomington resident was charged with DUI Nov. 23.

reported that a juvenile female stole two pairs of earmuffs Nov. 23.

Six juveniles were cited for various offenses Nov. 23, with two of them cited for marijuana possession., one cited for underage drinking and another for drug paraphernalia.

A 39-year-old Blaine man was charged with domestic assault and possession of prescription drugs Nov. 24.

A 21-year-old Richfield man was charged with criminal damage to property and domestic assault Nov. 24.

Marathon gas station reported that a Somali male stole a carton of cigarettes Nov. 25.

A theft from a vehicle in the parking lot was reported Nov. 25.

A man reported that his wife assaulted him several times from Nov. 22 to Nov. 22, but didn’t make the report until Nov. 25.

Police are investigating a sexual misconduct case in which the victim reported being touched inappropriately by two male nursing assistants during the night. The report was made Nov. 25.

A 39-year-old St. Paul man was charged with DUI Nov. 25.
