Richfield Police Blotter: More Thefts Throughout the City
The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.
All the following information was taken from the ’s Incident Report from Aug. 29, detailing incidents from Aug. 25-27.
Police are investigating a theft of a trailer of lawn care equipment valued at nearly $6,000. The incident occurred on the 6200 block of Irving Avenue on Aug. 25. Just a couple blocks away on the 6400 block of Humboldt, another resident reported that a $2,000 lawn mower had been stolen as well.
Police investigated an attempted burglary on the 100 block of 70th Street East Aug. 25.

Police investigated a property damage incident, in which a vehicle was ransacked on Aug. 25. Nothing was reportedly taken, however the .

Police investigated an incident involving obscene phone calls to a residence on the 6700 block of Humboldt Avenue Aug. 26.
Police took a report of suspicious activity on the 7700 block of Penn Avenue Aug. 26.
Police are investigating the theft of a Bobcat from the Aug. 26. The equipment is valued at $15,000.

Police are investigating a theft from vehicle incident that occurred on the 400 block of 78th Street West Aug. 26. A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and an eight-gig iPod were among the items reported stolen.
A bicycle was taken from the 6300 block of Nicollet Avenue Aug. 26.
Police issued four underage drinking citations Aug. 26 after discovering minors drinking in a garage.
A 30-year-old Minneapolis woman was charged with fleeing police, DWI and open container Aug. 27.
A 24-year-old Deltona, FL woman was charged with DUI Aug. 27.
A juvenile was issued a citation for tampering a vehicle and a curfew violation Aug. 27.
Three thefts from vehicle incidents were reported Aug. 27.
Police also cited individuals for possession of marijuana in three separate incidents Aug. 27.
