Richfield Police Blotter: Four Charged With Robbery

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the Arrest and Incident Reports, detailing incidents from June 6-8.

officers charged four people with robbery after a Richfield man was robbed at gunpoint June 6.

According to the police report, the man who was robbed was standing on 74th Street and Portland Avenue when a car pulled up. A man in the car pointed a gun at him and demanded he get on the ground. The robber took the man’s wallet and cell phone and then the car drove off.

The victim was able to get the license plate number and Bloomington Police went to the address of the car’s registered owner and took three men and one woman into custody.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on the 6700 block of Lake Shore Drive June 7.

Police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred on the 6500 block of Nicollet Avenue.

A juvenile was charged with theft June 7.

A 20-year-old Richfield woman was charged with shoplifting June 7.

A 42-year-old Richfield man was charged with assault June 7.

Police are investigating a domestic assault incident from June 7.

Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle incident that occurred on the 6300 block of 2nd Avenue June 7.

Police are investigating a property damage incident that occurred on the 300 block of 66th Street June 8.

A vehicle that was parked on the 2100 block of 66th Street was impounded June 8.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on the 700 block of 77th Street June 8.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on the 6500 block of Penn Avenue June 8.
