Richfield Police Blotter: 6 Assaults Occur Over Weekend

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports Monday.

The Richfield Public Safety Department has a busy weekend handling a variety of crimes, including: Burglary, shoplifting, driving after license cancellation, property damage and drug paraphernalia possession.

However, Richfield law enforcement by far spent most of its time dealing with various assaults; six incidents in all.

All information was taken from the Richfield Public Safety Department’s Incident and Arrest Reports from Feb. 28. The reports detail incidents from Feb. 24-27.

Police are investigating a juvenile runaway case from Feb. 24.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 6400 block of Penn Avenue on Feb. 24.

A 42-year-old Richfield man was charged with domestic assault on Feb. 24.

Police detained two adults on an outstanding warrants on Feb. 24.

Police are investigating two separate assaults that occurred on Feb. 24, one of which occurred on the 7000 block of Cedar Avenue and the other on the 6400 block of Richfield Parkway.

Two Richfield men were charged with criminal damage to property on Feb. 24.

A 46-year-old Richfield man was charged with domestic assault on Feb. 25.

A juvenile was charged with drug paraphernalia possession, giving a false name to an officer and disorderly conduct on Feb. 25.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 1100 block of 66th Street West on Feb. 25.

Police investigated a fraud in which someone tried to use a fraudulent credit card on Feb. 25.

Police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred on the 7100 block of Chicago Avenue on Feb.  25.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 7400 block of 17th Avenue on Feb. 25.

Police investigated a forgery on Feb. 25.

Police are investigating a theft involving money and other personal items that occurred on Feb. 25.

A 23-year-old Plymouth, MN woman was charged with DUI on Feb. 25.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on the 6800 block of Russell Avenue on Feb.  26.

Police responded to a medical crisis on the 7600 block of Cedar Avenue on Feb. 26.

A 51-year-old Blaine, MN woman was charged with driving after license cancellation on Feb. 26.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on the 6400 block of Richfield Parkway on Feb. 26. The stolen items include: Consumer items, cash, personal accessories and entertainment devices.

Police are investigating a property damage incident that occurred on the 6200 Oliver Avenue on Feb. 26.

A 45-year-old Golden Valley, MN man was also charged with driving after license cancellation on Feb. 26.

A 48-year-old Minneapolis woman was charged with disorderly conduct on Feb. 26.

A 30-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with assault on Feb. 27.

Police detained an adult on an outstanding warrant on Feb. 27.

An adult was charged with domestic assault on Feb. 27.
