Richfield Man Identified as Victim in South Minneapolis Shooting

Juan Francisco Reyes Rosario was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center Monday.

A Richfield man has been identified as the man killed Monday in a shooting on the 4300 block of 5th Avenue South in Minneapolis.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Juan Francisco Reyes Rosario, 31, died of multiple gunshot wounds Monday. The incident has been ruled a homicide.

According to CBS Minnesota, police were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 29 to the 4300 block of 5th Avenue on a report of gunfire. When police arrived they found an adult male on 43rd Street East between South Fourth and Fifth avenues with a serious gunshot wounds.

Police are still investigating the incident.
