Police Blotter: Burglaries, Theft & Shoplifting—Oh My

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the 's Incident and Arrest Reports from April 23, 2012, detailing incidents from April 19-21.

April 19:

  • A checkbook, cell phone, digital camera and $300 in cash was reported stolen from a cab that was parked at , 7720 Nicollet Ave. S.
  • An attempted burglary was reported on the 6600 block of Lyndale Avenue.
  • A resident filed a harrassment/stalking report.
  • A 49-year-old man was charged with drug paraphernalia possession after police were dispatched to .
  • An unknown Asian male reportedly stole a aquarmarine light from . The light is valued at $214.
  • Three female adults were cited for shoplifting at Dots.
  • A 27-year-old Richfield woman was charged with domestic assault.
  • A 24-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with assault.
  • Police responded to a burglary on the 6300 block of Vincent Avenue.

April 20

  • Police responded to a delayed shoplifting incident at , 2913 W. 66th St. Four packs of Marlboro Black cigarettes were reported stolen. The incident was seen on surviellence tapes after it had occurred.
  • A 22-year-old Bloomington woman was charged with fourth-degree DUI.
  • A fraudulent credit card transaction was reported.
  • Police responded to a report of an attempted theft from a vehicle on the 7500 block of Colfax Avenue.
  • Police responded to an assault on the 7100 block of Cedear Avenue. A juvenile male reported that another juvenile male had fired a BB gun at him.
