Medical Examiner Identifies Man Killed in Richfield Home Sunday

The death has been ruled a homicide, and authorities are still investigating.

The 48-year-old man killed at a home in Richfield Sunday has been identified.

Habibi Gessese Tesema died of multiple sharp force injuries at his home on the 7300 block of 12th Avenue, according to the medical examiner's report. The death has been ruled a homicide, and authorities are still investigating.

The victim was located in the house when police arrived. The victim had sustained multiple puncture wounds, and first responders administered first aid. The 48-year-old male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, a police release said.

Two individuals were taken to theRichfield Police Department for questioning, and one was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. According to the release, the person taken to the hospital is being held for questioning.

The identity of the victim is not being released at this time. Police are not looking for any other suspects and there is no danger to the community, according to the release.
