Richfield Police Blotter: Harassing Phone Calls & A Slap In The Face

The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the 's Incident and Arrest reports from July 2, detailing incidents from June 28-30.

June 28

  • A man reported that he was receiving harrassing phone calls from his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen on the 6200 block of Pillsbury Avenue.
  • Police responded to an assault on the 7400 block of Oliver Avenue. A female acquaintance of the victim allegedly slapped her in the face, however, the suspect was gone on police arrival.
  • A 41-year-old Richfield man was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Coins and a $100 bill were reported stolen after the victim reported a burglary on the 6300 block of Irving Avenue.

June 29

  • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of 78th Street East.
  • A 45-year-old Maple Grove, MN woman was arrested for second-degree DUI.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from DOTS.
  • Metro Pawn & Gun reported a shoplifting incident. The suspect fled with a Sawsai before police arrived.
  • A 31-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for marijuana possession in a motor vehicle.
